This is all of us! I hope you are not being down on yourself with this :(. Actually, when I first saw the second picture a while back, I was envious of you! I remember thinking, "How come I can't be like that in my kitchen?!"
Head up girl! You are great! That is the picture that represents all of us...lol!
I love your laundry room, though! You should see mine - in the bowels of an ancient basement, clunky appliances tilt-wise on the floor - rattle, bang, clank (poem in there).
And your kitchen? I could only dream of such.
Lucky girl, I say. Oh well! The work has to be done. We are drudges when it comes down to it, eh?
Presious: I thought the photo was funny. My son took it and I did not know - laughed when I saw it.
That kitchen photo - trust me, I don't get out of bed looking like that!
WOW: I figured you would have a laugh at the comparisons.
Kat: Yes, the work has to be done. If I could build myself a new house the laundry would be the BIGGEST room in the house!!!
The kitchen is now 22 years old. I think it is so practical - why change it. It won't be kept any tider and it won't make me a better cook, that is for sure.
Mike129: I can tell you the truth, that is how I leave the house nearly everyday - and intend to do so until I am six foot under or something along those lines.
Although, I may think differently once I use a walking frame.
Linda, I love these kinds of posts, you are so refreshingly funny and honest. I think you are beautiful in both pictures... You are both of these women.
Karen: Yesterday I got the laundry all sparkling clean. I expect it to stay that way for at least two whole weeks..... Okay, only one week.
These two photos do show that everyone has the same old things to do at home.
Hope: How do you get all your washing done? I mean, you have soooo many in your house.....
That kitchen was once all timber and then I painted it white. Okay, I directed my husband to paint it white. Changed the benchtops. It is almost 23 years old now. I am quite fond of it. If I get sick of it, I will just paint it again.
Joanna Jenkins: Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Glad you enjoyed the photos - I wonder if Madonna has a laundry photo she could upload?

Hahahaha, awesome! This is why I find so much humor in everyday life.

You, my dear, are always a fantasy.
(Although the 2nd photo does make you kitchen look ... inviting.)
MJ: How true is that statement.
RJ: I have one of those days on a regular basis!
